Hi I'm Angela

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am Angela and I am 18 years old. I am currently a freshman in college and I am striving for a successful future. I love to sing my heart out. I love to spend time with my family and friends. I love my job. I love to dance in the rain. I love to read a good book. I love attending my young single adult branch. I love life. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ is everything to me. There is nothing in this world that can bring more happiness and joy than being a member of the restored gospel that is on earth today. I belong to this church because it is more than a blessing to know that I am a child of God. I know where I was before I came to this earth, I know why I am here, and I know where I am going. I am a Mormon because I know that families are forever. I cannot wait until the day that I get to go to the temple, the House of the Lord, and be sealed to a worthy priesthood holder for time and all eternity. In closing, I'd like to share the lyrics to a song I learned at church when I was 5 years old.. "Heavenly Father, Are you really there? And do you hear and answer every child's prayer? Some say that heaven is far away, but I feel it close around me as I pray. Heavenly Father, I remember now, something that Jesus told disciples long ago, suffer the children to come to me, Father, in prayer I'm coming out to thee. Pray. He is there. Speak, he is listening. You are his child. His love, now surrounds you. He hears your prayers. He loves the children. Of such, is the kingdom, the kingdom of Heaven." I know that the Lord hears and answers every prayer, big or small. We CAN communicate with our Heavenly Father. You are his child and he loves you. THAT is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be like the Savior. He is the ultimate example of perfection. I know that I will never be perfect while I am here on Earth, but I do believe that there are things that I can work on every day to be one step closer. Being a Mormon has helped me to understand the value of serving others. It has blessed me with several opportunities to reach out to those around me. I have learned that when I serve others, my trials and burdens seem so small or even non-existent. The Book of Mormon says that when I am in the service of my fellow beings, I am only in the service of my God (Mosiah 2:17) I know that this is true because I feel it every time I serve. The gospel is real. It is true.
