Hi I'm Christine

I'm a Mom, a Daughter and a Grandma. I love to watch nature unfold, expecially in the a pettle of any flower. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work full time to support my hiking habbit. This has developed in my later years. I love hiking, mostly because it's a way for me to find beautiful things in nature to photograph. I hike with bear bell attached to my back pack, so my husband can keep track of me. (It's has a dule purpose.)

Why I am a Mormon

To answer why I'm a Mormon, it's simply because I love our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ and I want to be obedient so that I may return to His presence. I know he loves me, like I love our children and wishes the greatest of joy and happiness for me and you. One of the things I treasure most is our family. Everyone from my grandparents to our beautiful grandchildren. I'm so very greatful for the teachings of the gospel. The knowledge that we may make and keep sacred promises that will allow us to be a family thoughout Eternity is very precious to me. With this knowledge it gives me a perspective on what really maters. We can be together forever by simply following the example and teachings of our Savior Jesus Christ and keeping the promises we make.

How I live my faith

Service is a huge part of living my Faith. Serving children has been a major part of my life in the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. As a Leader I would meet with the children or youth once or twice a week. These were fun times and cherished memories. I learned as much from the youth as the youth could ever learn from me. We also serve each other individually and care for and help to lift each others burdens. A meal, a listening ear, a room filled with laughter is never far away. We edify each other by sharing testimonies of our Savior with special experiences and lessons. Service and keeping the Faith helps me stay focused on my eternal goals and what really matters.
