Hi I'm Kyle

I'm a father of 4 and happily married for almost 20 years. I'm a Reagan Band crew dog and a call center executive. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

We moved from Utah to Texas on a promise that it would only be a 1-year assignment. That was 12 years ago and we can't imagine living anywhere else. We have two children that are Utah natives and two that are Texans. We feel that we were led to Texas as a place where our children could grow and learn. We also found our last family member here who came to us as a foster child when she was 6-months old. After a year of being our foster daugther and a few miracles we were able to adopt her.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. I believe that he still speaks to man through personal revelation in response to our prayers. He also has prophets on the earth today just as he had in ancient times. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the World. I believe that through Him, by Him, and with Him we can be saved from our sins and we can return to live with God again after this life. He is my personal savior and redeemer and without Him I would be lost forever. I believe that families can and should be together forever and that the family is the core of God's plan for us. I know that if I live my life in a way that is pleasing to my Father in Heaven that I can be with Him and my family after this life. What greater promise could there be?

How I live my faith

I try to focus my life around service. Service to my family, my friends, my community and my God. I am currently volunteering my time to teach an early morning religion class to teenagers. I teach the 16 and 17-year-olds in what is called Seminary. This is a program organized by the church to teach the youth about the scriptures and how they can apply them in their lives. We meet each weekday morning from 6:00AM to 6:50AM. Just like any other service, I think that I am being blessed more than those that I think I am serving.
