Hi I'm Brooke

I'm an army brat. I have recently graduated from college. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have moved over 25 times about my life and have found myself living in the same state now for two years with at least two more left. I enjoy crafty projects like knitting and have always enjoyed the outdoors. I just finished going to college and find myself looking for a job in today's job market. I just married and am now part of a large very close family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Mormon, but since my dad came into the church later he always helped me and my siblings see living the gospel of Jesus Christ as a decision. In high school I really began growing my own testimony of the church after reading the Book of Mormon all the way through personally for the first time. I kneled in my room and prayed and received the answer I already knew in my heart that the book was true. That small testimony has grown since then. Sure I've had problems, but there have been times when that sure knowledge was reinstilled in my heart. As a new wife I know I will always need the gospel to support my husband and future children.

How I live my faith

I have been in my new ward for just over a month, but have already felt the love of my fellow members. It has been a new experience for me to live in an area with so many members nearby. My husband and I were invited to attend a special class that focuses on building stronger marriages and families. As a new couple it will be nice to have not only the instruction in the class but our fellow class members to turn to.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Brooke
A Testimony is a spiritual witness. It's what you receive when you pray with questions and receive answers. A testimony is the basis of faith and will be built on truths. Show more Show less
