Hi I'm Jodi Ray

I like to travel. I'm a mom to 4 & grandma to 12. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to cruise and have been to 13 countries. I did a humanitarian trip to Fanning Island, Kiribati. It was the only trip I'd made to a 5th World country. I've been to Haiti twice and have been around the Caribbean. I like to watch football and my favorite teams are the Arizona Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers. I love anywhere that has a beach. I like to read and I like meeting people from around the world.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was in high school I had friends that were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It seemed they were really happy and I guess I wanted some of that for my life too. I went to seminary in High School and was baptised my senior year by my seminary teacher. I loved the things the church stood for and when I got married, I wanted my family to enjoy those things. It was the best decision I could have ever made, because of it, I have the opportunity to have an eternal marriage and an eternal family. The Church has been a blessing in raising my family. The Church has given me great peace and teaches us we can be a family forever. My family is close because of our shared beliefs. I feel that joining the Church was the best decision I have ever made.

How I live my faith

I have attended church regularly since I joined 37 years ago. I have had the opportunity to teach many age groups and of being a cub scout leader. I try to set a good example for my children and grandchildren. It makes me extremely happy to see them live lives they can be proud of. I believe when we live our lives in a manor that would make our Heavenly Father happy, we will be happy as well. Through the Church I have been able to assist in many humanitarian projects. Whenever you see a disaster somewhere in the world the Church is there to provide supplies and assistance, that is one of the reasons, I am proud, I am a Mormon.
