Hi I'm Julie

I'm a college student, an SF Giants fan and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a convert to the church. I grew up in a big city without any religion and I'm the only member in my family. In high school I worked with two non-profits that dealt with adolescent girls and I love volunteering. I also speak French and play soccer.

Why I am a Mormon

I had a friend in high school who was a member and I was always curious about what Mormons did but I never thought that I could believe in god or any sort of religious idea. It wasn't until I found an add for Mormon.org after my second year of college that everything came together. I was reading through the website and something about it just really spoke to me. It was as if I was being reminded of things I already knew. After about a month of looking through the website I submitted my name to meet with the missionaries and five weeks later I was baptized. I'm so thankful to be a member. The gospel has brought so much clarity and purpose to my life and I can't imagine ever going back to how I was before.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through little things everyday. I just try to be a good person and do what Heavenly Father wants and asks of me. I also tutor a boy in the family ward once a week and I'm active in church activities and in my calling.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

You can submit your name and contact information on mormon.org to set up a meeting with the missionaries or you could visit your local ward, anyone there will be happy to talk to you. Show more Show less
