Hi I'm Parker Brodale

I grew up in Iowa, and Arizona feels like home. I love this desert paradise and the people that I have around me. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Life is a great place. I think a positive attitude is necessary to really see the good in life. I love to meet new people, to get to know them. I love to help people anytime that I can. I feel that music is a way that we can express our lives, and even a way to worship our God in ways that we cannot fully understand. It is my goal and determination to step above a life of mediocre living and live fantastically and magnificently. I am doing all that I can to be a light on a hill for those I know and even those that are strangers to me. I love God, I love life, and I love the idea that through Jesus Christ, I can be a better person. What a plan...

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon first and foremost because of my belief in Jesus as the Christ. That led me to search and seek out truth. I found the Book of Mormon to be a true book. I found that answer through prayer, through reading the book, and praying about it. I found great things in the book that helped me to put my life into a perspective more like my Savior. I believe that God is the same yesterday today and forever, and if His church is built upon a foundation of prophets and apostles, then it ought to be today. Logic aside, I know that this church is Christ's original church restored in Earth because I know that the Priesthood, or the authority to act in the name of God, is the life of this church. Yes there are men at the head of this church, but they are called of God, with Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone. Mainly I am a Mormon because I was led by God here. I live to let my light shine, and write these things here because I hope taht one day someone's life might be changed by the thought of such truths, by Christ. I am a Mormon because I want to have the blessing of an eternal family, and without the authority of God, that is here, I will not be allowed. I am a Mormon because God answers prayers, because I was, and am willing to follow God to wherever He leads me, no matter how misunderstood, nor how clouded the way seems. I will follow His command, and His command has brought me here.

How I live my faith

I feel that I live my faith in every action. I truly feel that I am a standing testimony of my Savior. I would be nothing without Him. I like to have fun in my faith. I think that we all have a bad day here and there, and that at times our hope seems to fade. I look and strive to live a purposeful live following Christ. How do I do it? I get up in the morning and I try my hardest! Then I go to my knees and ask God to make of me what He would, I ask for forgiveness, and then I accept it and move forward. I dont like to dwell on past mistakes, I want to live free of sin and the sorrow from it. I have found that studying the scriptures, and praying everyday are ESSENTIAL in my ability to follow Christ. I need that spiritual nourishment. I also believe that Faith MUST be put into action. We cannot change the world by our own powers. I know that if I do what my Father in Heaven asks of me, that He will change me, and I hope...I hope..that that will make some difference in the world. I hope that someone will see it and take one step closer to Christ. Its not about being perfect here, its about making progress! I know that love is the greatest commandment, and I hope one day I can understand what that fully means..for now I do my best. Staying healthy is a big part of my life. When I am healthy I can focus better on the important things. I live my faith through all that I do, why? there is no better way to enjoy and appreciate such a gift.
