Hi I'm Ashley

I grew up in Arizona. I'm a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a stay at home mother of my son. I love reading books, watching movies, and playing games. I'm an All-American Racquetball player. I recently graduated from college with a bachelors in Psychology. I was in marching and concert band. I play the piano, bassoon, and clarinet. I was in the Missula's Children Theater in my younger years.

Why I am a Mormon

Life has many changes and uncertainties, but the gospel is the same today as it was when Jesus Christ walked this earth. My life hasn't been blissful, but I feel comfort and peace knowing that I can rely on what I've been taught to get me through everything. To know that there is life after death and those that die will be the same person they were while on the earth is comforting. My grandpa died before I was born and knowing that I'll get to see and meet him someday gives me something to look forward to and work towards. Honestly, the gospel of Jesus Christ makes sense with all the knowledge that societies gain, it just fortifies the gospel's teachings. There is a God. He is a Heavenly Father. He's my Father. He gave Jesus Christ, He's begotten, to save his other children. Jesus Christ suffered the Atonement for me and everyone I see. He did rise the third day to overcome death. I know that families are divinely inspired organizations where we learn to return to our Heavenly Father someday. I know that the atonement is real, I've used it myself and can testify the burden it lifts from my shoulders and heart. I know that reading the Lord's canon like the Bible, Book of Mormon, and other written words of His current prophet that I'll make it back to Him. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know there is a currently a prophet on the earth who recieves revelation for our days. I know I can recieve personal revelation for myself and my family. I love the gospel and wouldn't be functioning adult in the world today without it. My life is completely intertwined with the gospel Christ set forth in Jerusalem personally. I know these things and I testify with my whole heart that they are true. I say these things in the name of my savior, brother, teacher, and friend Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I'm a stay at home mother, so I teach my child the importance of praying, being honest, and trusting in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I show my son through example. I'm a called, which means Heavenly Father wants me to, visit and teach other women in my geographical area. I am there to help them when times are hard, by being an arm to cry on, a set of wheels for traveling, a pair of hands for cleaning or lifting, and a friend for the soul. I also am asked to insure our church building is clean, safe, and stocked. This includes having others from the congregation help clean it.
