Hi I'm Emilee

I love to sing. I bake a lot of cookies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a silly seventeen-year-old who loves to sing and play the ukulele. I love interacting with people and I want to become a teacher. Music is my passion, cookies are my hobby, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family and in a Mormon community, so the church was something that I never really questioned until I got to high school. Suddenly, it wasn't enough for me to hear other people say "I know," I needed to know it myself! I prayed to God and asked Him if the church really was true. I know that God speaks to His children; if you ask, He will answer you. He touched my heart and I was filled with such overwhelming joy, I could not deny that the things I had been taught all my life were really from God. I'm a Mormon because I know God cares about me. I know that Jesus Christ died for me. Because of that sacrifice, I know that I can be joyful--forever!

How I live my faith

I have many opportunities to share my talents in the church. I often conduct music or play the piano for week-day youth activities. During the school year, I actively participate in an early morning scripture study class. I try to serve people everywhere I go. I just like to make people smile.
