Hi I'm Megan

I'm a student at BYU, musician, artist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah, and grew up near Atlanta, Georgia. I am the oldest of four kids, and currently attend Brigham Young University. I play piano, flute, and ukulele, and I love to paint. I am, and always have been, a strong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with an ever-growing testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I never go a day without realizing the important role of the church in my life and always try to keep an optimistic attitude. I've learned that a good attitude and a little faith during hard times makes life so much easier, and I know that I could not get along without the gospel of Jesus Christ and a knowledge of His plan for each of us on this Earth.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and have always appreciated the blessings I receive from living the teachings of Jesus Christ. I am amazed at how a testimony can grow when you believed it could get no bigger. Through the Bible, The Book of Mormon, and the testimonies of the authorities of the church and others around me, I find courage to live everyday grateful for what my Heavenly Father has given me. Through prayer, always faithful and never doubting, I have received many blessings that are promised to us in the scriptures, which serve as proof that they are true testaments of Jesus Christ. I wouldn't give up these blessings for the world.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday, I attend Sacrament Meeting, Sunday School, and Relief Society meetings to learn about the teachings of Jesus Christ and how I can make myself more like Him. I serve as an instructor in my ward's relief society, and also take part in family history and temple work. By studying the Bible and the Book of Mormon, and the teachings of latter-day prophets and apostles, I find the happiness and peace that comes through the love and blessings of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
