Hi I'm Isaac Jones

I'm a book worm, a proud older brother and a Missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five children, with an age range of about 19 to 7 years old. I have grown up in Arizona my entire life, and I have absolutely fallen in love with the heat of the summer and spring. I played lacrosse in high school as a defender, and also sang as a bass in our schools concert choir.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have always been a part of it both due to the influence of my family and my friends. Yet I still choose to follow its teachings because of how they help me live my life. I have found a greater sense of peace and hope in my life as I followed the teachings of Jesus Christ. I have learned for myself the power of His Atoning sacrifice and His role in my life, both present and future. I want to live my life better and to be a better son, brother, a stronger and better future father and husband. I know that this gospel is true. It truly does come from a loving Father in Heaven, and its purpose is to bring us peace in this life, and happiness for eternity in the life to come.

How I live my faith

In Arizona, I live my faith by participating in activities like service projects for members of my congregation, or ward. I love the feelings that I get when I go and provide service for someone who is in need. I have participated in Scouts, which has allowed me to go and participate in service projects for those who are of my faith and those who are not.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Isaac Jones
Joseph Smith was born to a large family in 1805. His family owned and worked a farm in which the earned their living by hard physical labor. As Joseph was growing up, his parents taught him, and his siblings, to trust in God and to read from the scriptures. He sough after truth that could not be found among men when he was fourteen years old, and he learned for himself that the true gospel of Jesus Christ was not on the earth. He was a prophet chosen by Heavenly Father, or God, and Jesus Christ to be their spokesman, or prophet, on the earth again. He was a man who could be compared to Samuel, Isaiah, Nehemiah, and Moses. His role in the Gospel, was to be the instrument in which its fulness would be Restored to the earth to the blessing of all of God's children. Show more Show less
