Hi I'm Jean Kenold Valbrun

I'm a Mormon. I was born and raised in Haiti. I am a bilingual teacher in Miami-Dade County Public Schools. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My main hobby is chess. I enjoy working at the gym. I have a beloved grandson. I am working on a Specialist degree in Reading. I think that my mother handed me books since my first day on this earth. Daily reading is an essential vitamin for me.

Why I am a Mormon

A missionary refers me to a scripture that talks about priceless hidden treasures to be found by the faithful members of the church. I decided to go on a treasure chase since 1992 and my adventure keeps on getting more thrilling.

How I live my faith

I started serving in the Fort Lauderdale Bishoperic six months after my baptism. I served as leader of the young men for my ward, and the ward mission leader. I supervised the Sunday school in the ward. I presided the first Haitian Creole Branch in Fort lauderdale. I am serving now as a member of the Stake High Council.
