Hi I'm Dave

I'm a Mormon. I'm an avid mountain biker, I love to sing and be with my friends. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I returned from sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in northern California.I mentioned I enjoy mountain biking, and I really do. It' something I've been able to do with my two brothers over the years. It's great exorcise and always entertaining. I also love to take pictures wherever I am! Currently, I am in my first college semester studying Accountancy. I really enjoy the organizational side of business and the application of math, not so much math itself.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member and continue to follow Christs gospel because it brings joy, peace and overall contentment to me in my life. I believe we have a loving Heavenly Father who sent His only begotten Son to live and die for all of us. He guides us through living prophets, men who talk with god and who testify to the world of the Savior and help us to live the everlasting gospel in our day when it can be so hard to know what Course to take. One of the foundations of my testimony is the joy and peace I gain as I read from the scriptures, whether it be the Holy Bible or the Book of Mormon there is a sense of peace that flows into my heart and mind as I read and ponder their words. I have a particular love of the Book of Mormon as it is truly an additional witness of our Savior, Jesus Christ. It has taught me so much about His grace, and mercy. I have learned so much about His character and attributes which strengthens my own character.

How I live my faith

As I mentioned, I am a college student so I attend church with a number of other college students. It is a neat experience to be able to worship and share faith promoting experiences with my peers. I have a calling, an assignment to teach the men of my local congregation every few weeks. It is a neat opportunity as I always learn so much as I prepare to teach these lessons. My participation in the community is also an important part of my life. Of course many don't share my faith but I love and respect the good in everyone and enjoy finding myself serving my neighbors regardless of their religious affiliation and cultural back ground
