Hi I'm Lori

I'm a daughter of God and I am Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife, a mother, a grandmother, bipolar, a daughter of God and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that this is Christ's church restored to the earth and by obeying the teachings of Christ I will one day see Him and enjoy his company once again. His gospel may sound restrictive and difficult to live in the world views but in the eternal scheme of things, it is total freedom. But also in this earth life there are many blessings to be had and enjoyed through Christ's gospel. I've been blessed in my earthly struggles which have included the ups and downs of being bipolar, emotional issues, having lost two children gone through a divorce and many other challenges we all face. I could not have survived my trials without knowing who I am, that a living Christ exists and that He knows me personally and loves me more than I can comprehend. I have great gratitude for this knowledge and look forward to meeting with Him face to face.

How I live my faith

I cannot imagine my life with the Savior in the center. Every challenge, every joy, every blessing is recognized as my connection with my Savior. He is my rock, my anchor and without Him I’d be lost. I try to have gratitude for all the wonderful people and events that occur in my life. I have gratitude (doesn’t come as easily) even for the not so pleasant things because they test my mettle and helps me become more like my Savior bringing me closer to Him. Each morning begins with a prayer which I try to keep in my heart the whole day. At the end of the day, I “check-in” through prayer again. My life is my faith.
