Hi I'm Connor

I play the drums. I have a ridiculous Afro, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high school student, in the Drumline and Student Council. I get good grades. I play Drums, Ukulele, and i can play simple songs on the piano. I want to go to a University to major in Spanish and Enviornmental Science. I want to also Join the Peace Corps after serving a Mission and going to college.

Why I am a Mormon

I truly didn't choose to be fully converted until a couple of years ago during the summer. I saw how all the youth around me in the church were doing so well, and how I was in kind of a rough spot. I knew they had something I didn't have. While I was at efy, my counselor shared a story from his youth. He talked about how him and his three closest friends all made vows to not serve missions. He saw where he was going, and didn't like it. It inspired him to inquire of God what was right for him, and he recieved the answer that he must go on a mission. So he did. This inspired me to ask of my Heavenly Father what would be right for me, and I recieved the answer that I must fully be converted to fully gain all of his blessings.

How I live my faith

Currently I hold a calling in the youth section of m y church for young men my age. It entails going to members houses, and inviting the new young men into our group. I am active in service and never take a chance to serve my fellow man.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

One of the main principles of our church is that the bible is the word of god, as far as it is translated correctly. We believe that when Joseph Smith translated the Golden Plates, he also translated the bible to make it true. Show more Show less
