Hi I'm Maureen. I

I'm a Mormon. I am a wife, Mother, Grandmother, and soon to be great-grandmother .

About Me

My name is Maureen. I am a Wife, Mother, Grandmother and soon to be Great Grandmother. We have five children. We have 22 grandchildren and will soon have a Great Grandchild. I keep busy with my family and friends. I enjoy my neighborhood and we all watch out for one another. Everyone in the neighborhood knows that my husband and are members of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day- Saints. I enjoy doing Family history. MY husband and I have been married for fifty-one years and we are so thankful for our family.

Why I am a Mormon

I married when I was ninteen years old. My husband was a member of the church but I was not. We had been married a few months when one day I found a Book of Mormon among my husband's belongings. I ask him about it and he told me to read it out loud to him. I did and from that moment our lifes changed. We moved from Mississippi to Idaho and started to attend Church. We were expecting our first child. I was baptized about three months before the arrival of our child. My husband became active and recieved the Priesthood. I did not know everything about the Church, but I knew it was the right thing for our family. The spirit told me that I should be baptized. The gospel of Jesus Christ has made my life a good one. What a joy to have raised our family in the Church. I know the gospel is true and I know that Heavenly Father loves me and watches over me.

How I live my faith

I have been a member of the church for many years. I have learned how important it is to serve one another. I enjoymy neighbors and also the members of my ward. At this time I am serving as a Ward Missionary along with my husband. I enjoy visiting people and telling them about my belief. I enjoy sending cards and special surprises to my family and friends. I like to reach out to those that might just need a little "Pick me up" surprise.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

Maureen. I
The Holy Ghost is the third member of the Godhead. The Holy Ghost is there for us when we need him. He testifies to me the truth of all things. The Holy Ghost is my constant comforter. He is like a warm comforter that I have on my Bed. He makes me feel warm and helps me to know what to do. Show more Show less
