Hi I'm Rich

I grew up in Missouri. I'm a big oldies and blues fan. I work in HR. I enjoy tennis. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degree in Business. I currently work in human resources in the defense industry. I'm happily married. My hobbies include singing with a semi-professional choir, playing tennis, listening to the over 7000 songs on my iPod, and watching movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the teachings contained in my religion bring my closer to Jesus Christ and give me peace.

How I live my faith

I look for opportunities to serve both at Church and in the community. I recently was at a park cleaning up trash out of a creek. I was knee deep in water. I'm glad I wasn't knee deep in trash. I look for ways to serve my spouse, even simple things like doing the dishes, cleaning the bathroom, and preparing her lunch.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Mormon Church services are open to the public. There's a wide range of ages and backgrounds that attend each congregation. We don't have a paid clergy, so you will see members of the congregation say prayers, speak on different topics, help in the preparation of the sacrament (bread and water), and sing hymns. Going to Church each Sunday inspires me to be a better person and thus a better husband and future father. Show more Show less
