Hi I'm Mckenna

I'm a student. I'm a self proclaimed historian. I'm a baker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the third of six children and my family calls me "Mother McKenna" due to the fact that I like to be in charge. I love kids, and I have the best job in the world; I am a nanny. I love that kids are so honest, funny, and quick to learn. I am a student, and I hope to continue my education and learning process through out my life. I never want to leave school. I love learning so much that I have decided to major in three areas, History, Communications, and Global Studies. I love to travel, and hope one day to travel the world and on my adventures help those who I meet, because serving is my passion. You can either find me with a book in my hand or in the kitchen concocting something delicious. History is my life, I am my family's self proclaimed historian. I write down funny quotes that my family says, take photos, and I am archiving my grandparents photos. I love that photos capture more than a moment in time.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love the feeling that I get when I serve others and attend my church meetings. There is a sense of peace and knowing that I feel. I am a know it all, so as a Mormon I had to find out for myself if what I believed was true. After I studied, pondered, and prayed, I can say with conviction that I KNOW that this is the true Church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving those around me. I feel that I can become more like Christ, and draw nearer to Him by doing His work. Serving others makes me happier than I can imagine. It's knowing that I have made the slightest difference in someones life that makes me feel like I am living my faith, and that I am doing my little part in this wonderful world. I love that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints allows me many opportunities to serve, because doing so increases my faith.
