Hi I'm Becky

I'm a sassy college student. I have a passion for singing and photgraphy and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm starting college soon and I'm excited and scared. I try and be optimistic when life is tough and keep a smile on my face! I love photography, reading, singing, making crafts, such as clip-in flowers, and doing whatever any other young adult does! I donate blood at least three times a year.

Why I am a Mormon

I knew about the Church before I started attending regularly. I grew up with a Catholic father and a Mormon mother and so I learned about both churches and attended meetings with both of them for about a year or so. The thing that drew me to the Mormon church was that families could be together forever and that the members had a 'brightness" about them. I go to church by myself and I love learning and the thought that I can find my eternal companion in this life or the life to come. The gospel gives me a hope to be able to live my life the way the Lord wants me to. My testimony is that the Priesthood is real and is on the earth today and that through revelation Joseph Smith restored the only and true gospel. Without that knowledge I know I would truly be lost. I know the Savior atoned for my sins and my hurts and I know the Lord does love and will forgive me when I repent of all of my sins. I know this gospel is true with all of my heart.

How I live my faith

I teach a class in the Young Adult branch even though I am one of the youngest members! I've learned that this calling has helped me to be outgoing and to get out of my comfort zone. In my community I try to be an example to others by my actions, the way I dress, and my language. Visiting teaching and hometeaching are wonderful. I look forward to learning the lesson for the month and to hear about the people we teach and their lives!
