Hi I'm Nicolas Jensen

I am a high school senior. I love theater, and I want to be a politician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love theater and singing. I have been in 10 theater productions, mostly in high school and middle school. I am a senior in high school and also have a part time job at a movie theaters. I am a good student and strive to be the valedictorian of my graduating class!

Why I am a Mormon

I am so glad I was born into the church. I love the gospel and it has helped me to be the person I am today. A lot of people think of the church's rules as being strict and controlling. I see it in a totally different light. The church's rules, God's rules for us, are more like a golden brick road to keep you on the "strait and narrow." Through these I am able to know immediately right from wrong, and the path that I should take. At times it is really tough and hard to be a member. But when I am discouraged and confused I know there is an answer out there for me to find. Rarely is there an answer in the church that is, "I/We don't know." I love that! When the answer is that we know that God works line upon line, precept upon precept. He will reveal all in time. You pick yourself back up and realize how amazing God is.

How I live my faith

I am currently a Priest, and I have been called to be the secretary in my quorum. I am in National Honor Society, National History Day, student adviser to the Stanwood city council, and our school's drama program. I was previously in our school's Jazz and Chamber Choirs for two years. God has asked us to find our talents and to grow them. We can then use them in helping build God's kingdom. I am always looking for ways to grow and become a more well-rounded person. Through God blessing through my life I have been able to achieve this goal so far!
