Hi I'm McKenna.

I know who I am.

About Me

Hi! My name is McKenna, and I am a college student. My major is Elementary Special Education and it is because of this Gospel I know what I am studying is what I am suppose to be doing. I am a daughter of God. I am a hard-worker. I am a musician. I am an athlete. I am the oldest of ten-and still somewhat sane. I have recently been called to serve as a missionary in the Spain Barcelona Mission and I am so grateful to serve the Lord and to share the Gospel with those who will bless my life for these next 18 months. We share a sweet message that Christ lives and that He is our loving Heavenly Father. The Spirit felt through understanding the Gospel can calm the troubled heart and mind and bring peace and understanding to the lost and wary soul. All we need to do is show a little seed of faith and ask Him for help and for guidance and He is waiting to beckon our call. He loves you and He loves me. He is unending.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me so happy! I've been so fortunate as to have been born into this Church into a loving family with parents who love and guide me. But that doesn't mean that I was born into believing in the Church. I gained a testimony of it for myself and still today and for the rest of my life I will and am learning more and more and all these things and principles that I am learning, strengthen my testimony and excite me to live my life righteously, simply because I believe. Without this Gospel I do not know how I would think or what I would have to believe in. I would be so lost and scared sick everyday without it. Through this Church, I know where I am going, I know how to get there, I know who I am, and I know where I belong. It's a great feeling.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example. Everyday I see opportunities and even pray for opportunities to be an example to all, those who are members and to those who are not. I strive to get to know others and understand them and just befriend them. I strive to offer them advice and comfort and insight to what I believe and what I know to be true. Through my testimony I hope to ignite the truthfulness the Gospel brings to me and the joy I feel because I know that if I was lost and searching for peace I would look for these qualities in someone and wonder what and why they are just so darn happy all the time.
