Hi I'm Chelsea

I love to sing, play the guitar, and writing songs. I wear cowboy boots, drive a truck, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a high school student in choir and love being a teenager. I enjoy eating frozen yogurt with my friends and family. I recently began to teach myself how to play guitar and am experimenting in writing songs. I dream of one day writing songs that will inspire others to become the people that they have the true potential to be. More importantly, I want to be able to raise a family someday, helping them make the choices that will enable them to be their best.

Why I am a Mormon

As I have grown my parents have taught me to live a virtuous life and I have tried my hardest to follow in their good example. I have gained a testimony of my own through the Holy Ghost that I have a savior who has come to the earth to pay the ultimate price for my sins. I know without a shadow of a doubt that he lives and loves me. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and that through his willingness to obey his Heavenly Father we were able to receive the Book of Mormon. I know that this book is another testament of Jesus Christ and is the word of God. I know that it was writen for us that we might have God's guidence in our lives. I know that He gave us this guidence out of love, that He wishes for us to return to live with Him someday. I know that families are central to God's plan for us and that if we live as we should we can live together eternally. This knowladge has helped me to feel the joy that God has intended for us. I know that the work and glory of God is to bring to pass the imortality and eternal life of men that they too may find the true joy that this will bring.

How I live my faith

While having this knowledge has brought me joy the most joy has come from living the way my Heavenly Father would have me live. I love serving the Lord and doing his work. As Jesus taught "when ye are in the service of your fellow beings you are only in the service of your God." I believe that service is of God, sharing with others his infinite love and grace. By being his hands I can truly make a difference helping others realize that the worth of soul is great in His sight. I love doing walks for charity. So far I have done two walks for autism and a walk for The American Lung Association. I hope to be able to continue walking for charity as well as finding other ways to serve the community and those around me.
