Hi I'm Amanda

I'm a wife to a wonderful man. I'm a mother to 3. I love to clean, organize, socialize, dance, run, and eat. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a stay at home mother of 3. I have a daughter (8) who was just baptized, a son (6) who is learning new things each day despite his weaknesses, and a daughter (4) who was born with sparkles in her blood and make up on her face. I love being a mother and can't think of anything else more challenging or rewarding than raising a family. I am married to a wonderful supportive husband who loves me despite my weaknesses. He is my best friend and there is no one I'd rather face the challenges of life with than him. In my free time which is usually before the sun comes up or after the sun goes down, I love to run, sew, be with friends, watch reality TV, and clean. I also enjoy traveling, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by loving parents who taught me the gospel by word and by example. I never wanted anything else than to remain true to the covenants they encouraged me to make. I can't think of my life being any better, sweeter, happier, or more rewarding than with the gospel of Jesus Christ as the center. I have had challenges. Everyone does. The most painful was losing my mother to cancer at the young age of 59. I was just 30. I follow the commandments and live the gospel so I can return to my Heavenly Father, Savior, and eternal family.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is not easy. My husband serves faithfully in the bishopric and I serve in the Relief Society presidency. We attend church every Sunday, attend multiple meetings throughout the week, and visit the sick and the needy. We read scriptures with our children every night, pray with them daily, and hold Family Home Evenings every Monday night. We try our best to keep the commandments and always live the example of one who follows Jesus Christ. We are busy, but we are blessed and we are happy.
