Hi I'm Tom.

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm happily married and enjoy spending time with my wife and our two kids. As parents of two little kids, we stay busy and feel very blessed. We are lucky to live near both our parents and most of our siblings. At Church, I work with the 12-14 year old young men as the Scoutmaster. I sit in on their weekly Sunday lessons and work on Scouting almost every Wednesday. We camp almost every month and I love being in the outdoors with the young men in our ward. I graduated from college in business management with an emphasis in information systems. Professionally, I work with my father-in-law in commercial real estate in property and asset management and real estate development. We also run a residential appraisal and appraisal management company. My hobbies include, trying to break my RC truck, 4 wheeling in my Jeep, most outdoor activities, and pistol and shotgun shooting. I also love technology.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that God lives and that His son, Jesus Christ, is my Savior. I know that Heavenly Father is mindful of me and my family. I can feel his love, guidance, and direction in my life. Knowing these things makes me feel confident and comfortable with who I am and where I am going. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints preaches an unabridged version of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that He sits at the head of the Church today. I know that Thomas Monson is a prophet of God and that he communicates with God the Father and Jesus Christ regarding their will for, not only the Church, but all mankind. Along with the Bible, I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. Reading the Book of Mormon brings me peace and a greater understanding of the Gospel. I also love the Bible (especially the New Testament) and enjoy studying the words of the Savior and his ancient Apostles. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God. He brought about the restoration of the Gospel including the Priesthood--the power and authority to preach the Gospel and preform sacred ordinances.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by striving to think and say and do things that will please my Father in Heaven and honor the sacrifice made my Jesus Christ. I serve in the Church wherever I'm needed and try and give freely of my time, talents, and means.
