Hi I'm John

I am married, and have 2 awesome kids. I love sports, comedy, TV, and movies. I live in a small town in Indiana, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work as a merchandiser for Pepsi part time, and am a science major in college. I love sports especially baseball, basketball, and football. When I was in high school I played all three. I am always up to play, watch, or talk about sports. I also enjoy exercising and lifting weights even though it might not look like it. I enjoy relaxing(beach), ska, and rock music. I love my family and friends, and enjoy relaxing and spending time with them. I seem to have an new found love to watch television series and movies, especially funny ones. My kids are amazing, and pretty crazy at times. I am a father of two. A two year old girl and a baby boy. They are happy beautiful children. Their personalities and energy never cease to amaze me, and I love them very much and they are my motivation to succeed in this life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a life long member of the LDS church. I was born into the church, but I believe that every member has a point or experience when they are truly converted. For me it was when I moved away from my family, and started going to school. I no longer had parents to watch over me, push me to do the right things. It was stepping away from the church for a short time, and recognizing the blessings in my life that result from it that converted me to the gospel at heart. I love my savior Jesus Christ, and am so thankful for his willingness to bear my imperfections and sins. Starting my family and being aware of the blessings that Jesus Christ has to offer them in this life and beyond has only strengthened my dedication to him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by giving my best effort to do the things that I think God would want me to do. I try to be a good example and try to live life to the fullest. I do my best to be happy. I coach baseball and work one on one with high school aged kids. I am also a leader in my ward locally, am responsible for working with the missionaries and help with service projects for people in the community who may or may not be a part of the church. I also am a recitation leader for Freshman Chemistry class at my college.
