Hi I'm Cindy

I'm a Mormon.I grew up a military child, married into military. Mother to 4 kids, one on the autistic spectrum.

About Me

I live on a mini farm where I try to raise my own food. I spin, knit, crochett. I and my daughters raise rabbits and show them. I am a 4-H leader in my community where I work with kids of all ages. I love reading and building new things on my property, as well as spending time in the garden or with the animals.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church and am a 6th generation member. I still had to convert, there have been many times in my life where there have been trials. This last few years have been the hardest. I have had to deal with some health problems both with myself as well as my daughters which made me have to look at my testimony, as I found out my adult son is on the autistic spectrum and my daughters have various disabilites. Over the last 6 months there have been lots of soul searching and I can say with a strong voice I know the church is true and my Heavenly Father cares and loves me, I could not have come this far in my life without him. Every day I need him and the gospel. I have a love of my ancestors and thier sacrifice in joining the church.

How I live my faith

I serve in the community as a 4-H leader teaching and sharing with the kids and thier families. I enjoy the chance to share by example. It keeps me on my toes as I know they are watching and know I am a member of the church. I serve in the Library at church a new calling, previously I have served teaching the younger children in church. I like being around kids.
