Hi I'm Scott

I'm from Arizona. My wife and I have two little girls. I served in Iraq as a US Marine. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I studied Political Science and History in college. I work for the state of Arizona. My wife and I have been married for three years. We have two little girls that keep us very busy. I enjoy playing golf and basketball, watching football, and hanging out with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

My father is a convert. He joined the church when he was 18. After serving a mission he moved to Arizona where he married my mother. My mother's family were already members of the church. Growing up I learned to love the principles of the church as I attended meetings weekly. I had many great experiences with friends and church leaders that helped me to gain a personal conviction of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. As I have grown to adulthood and have children of my own, I have come to recognize how fortunate I am to have a working relationship with God and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I participate in our church by teaching lessons in Sunday School once a month. Also, I help organize and plan activities that support other men and their families. For example, I assist in making assignments for myself and other men to visit each family in our church on a monthly basis. I also live my faith by spending an evening with my family each week devoted simply to spending time together. We pray, sing songs, play games, and enjoy each others company during our family home evening. I pray and read scriptures with my wife on a daily basis. I live my faith by attending my weekly church meetings, visiting the temple in Mesa, and offering my time and service to others when needed.
