Hi I'm Lyndsey

I am your average person. I'm also Mormon.

About Me

I am currently training for my first half marathon, and I am NOT a runner. I have an associates degree and look forward to finishing up school with a bachelors degree in business management. I am married. I love movies, and music. I love life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of the LDS church. I remember being 12 and finally praying to know if this was the true church(even though in my heart I already knew). I had a sense of calm that enforced into me the truthfulness of this gospel. There is no other place I can go where I feel more peace, knowledge, and acceptance as the LDS church/ LDS temple. I know that Joseph Smith was the first modern day prophet of our Heavenly Father. I know that Joseph Smith received revelation from our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ that we as a people could grow closer to Them and be strengthened by Them. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God just as Joseph smith was and every LDS prophet in between. He is here to benefit us. I love him. He is the mouthpiece of the Lord. I know for a surety that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church here on the earth today. I know that Jesus Christ died for me and you. I know that I can be saved by the loving power of the atonement. I know that I will be able to return to my Father in heaven as long as I live a righteous life here on this earth. I know that I am sealed to my family and my husband and that my future kids will be sealed to me and my husband by the precious power of temple work. I will see my Heavenly Father again with the people that I love.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending sacrament meeting, sunday school, and relief society. I live my faith by attending the LDS temple one a month. I live my faith by including it in my blog thewinsomelife.blogspot.com. I live me faith by reading the scriptures every night and praying every night. I live my faith by being the person I know I should be.
