I've been a Mormon, since eight. I married my high school sweet heart. We have two girls, a son inlaw, and a grandson.

About Me

I love to sing, it makes me feel good. I like to sew and do crafts. I attended Technical college at a later time in life to become a Medical Assistant. I thought I was too old to go back to school, but I was wrong, I loved every minute of it. My husband and I have joind the ranks of empty nesters since our girls left home. Not a bad change, but a new stage in our life.

Why I am a Mormon

I really didn't have an adults understanding of why I was baptized, I had a childs one that "Jesus loves me and if I keep his comandments that he will always be with me. He promises me a home to return to when I leave this earth." This always made me feel safe. Now that I'm an adult, I know and believe that this is the true church, "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints." That someday we will be able to return to our Father in heavens' house and be able to call it our home. Yes, I am a Mormon. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I do beleive this to be true. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

My husband and I attend church on Sundays. We have family home evenings on Monday with an Empty Nesters group. We read the scriptures and have family prayer every day. I'm a member of the church choir. I like to help others learn to sew and I volunteer at the community soup kitchen. I love being Mormon and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
