Hi I'm Larissa

I'm outgoing, a lover of music, a student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a daughter and a sister. Music and photography are my passion. I love to travel. I'm a college student studying to become a dental hygienist, so life can be pretty crazy and stressful at times, but that's typical. I love black and white photos and fall fashion. I love adventure and trying new things. It is my goal that one day, hopefully soon, that I go to Africa, along with other places in need and provide love and service there. It is a life changing experience that I am waiting to have. Laughter is my cure to almost any bad day.

Why I am a Mormon

Since I have been a member my whole life, it was just something that I grew up with. I went to church because I had to and because that's what I knew. But now that I am older and starting my own future, it is so much more than that. I am a Mormon because of the happiness and joy that it brings to my life. For the strength that I receive by living by faith. I'm Mormon because of the love that I feel from my Heavenly Father. He knows me for who I am. He knows what I face each day. He knows my strengths and weaknesses. He knows the desires of my heart. He knows just what I need and when I need it. And knowing that I can turn to him at anytime, day or night is such a comforting feeling. I wouldn't be who I am today without this Gospel. I know that trials are a blessing and that they provide the opportunity to learn and grow. This Gospel is what I live for. Its the reason I am where I am today. Its the reason I know what I know. Its the reason I do the things I do. It is the reason I keep going when things are tough because I know there is something brighter. He never said it would be easy, He only said that it would be worth it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the little things; going to church, reading the scriptures, saying my prayers daily, attending family time, or even just giving a smile. I provide service to those that are in need and I let my light of the Gospel shine through me each and every day. I live my faith by being an example to my younger sisters and helping them understand the importance of this Gospel.
