Hi I'm Joni

I'm 44 years old. I am a wife, Mother and I love to boat with my family and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 44 years old and I have been married to the same, wonderful Man for 25 years. I am a mother to two grown children and one teenager. I love being a stay at home Mom and being available to help my family. I love boating at Canyon Lake, and Lake Powell! We spend time with close friends and family every summer, boating and exporing the beauty of Lake Powell. I love to cook, decorate and just being at home. I enjoy family history, exercising with my husband, and recently took a trip to the Philippines where my Son was serving as a Missionary for the the LDS church. I have found I love learning about new cultures and finding the beauty of the land and people in foreign countries.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church and have always loved being member. The Mormon Church has blessed my life in countless ways. I have deep, abiding testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel found in the scriptures, both the Bible and Book of Mormon. I feel a sense of peace and calm when I read the scriptures and have had many questions about life answered from reading these sacred volumes. I love knowing that I have been sealed eternally to my family because of sacred ordidnances perfomed in the temples of the LDS faith. I have had many questions about this life and what happens to us in the next life answered by teachings in the Book of Mormon. I know the that the Book of Mormon is true and that it's teachings will be bring a person closer to God and Jesus Christ, if they pray and read it pages, with a pure desire to know of it's truthfulness. I am most grateful to my Heavenly Father who has blessed me with wonderful people in my life, and I am grateful to my Savior who died for me and has saved me from all the things I do wrong, if I repent, who lifts me when I hurt and helps me to know that I am strong and can make it through what ever may come my way. I know that Lord knows me personally, and is interested in every facet of my life. I would be a far different person today without the Gospel of Jesus Christ to guide me everyday... I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

What do I love about my Church? Within the the organization of the LDS church are many organizations that exsist to help us grow and reach our full potential here on earth. I belong to the women's organization in the church and it is the largest Women's organization in the world. Through this organization, I have been given many opportunities to serve others, learn home & family skills, leadership skills, and how to become more like my Savior. I have met and come to know many wonderful women, who inspire me and are there for me where ever in the world I go. I met some women, who blong to the LDS church in the Philippines, and I instantly shared a common bond with them through belonging to this organization.so I was 8,000 miles away from home, and I was instantly loved and understood in so many ways because of the church. There are other organizations for the Men, Youth and children in the LDS church as well. They teach each gender and age group specfic skills, and give them opportunities to serve and teach of the Savior and Our Heavenly Father. I have seen my own children (2 daughters & 1 son) grow and develop into wonderful people, who know who they are and why they are here, because of the gospel and it's teachings. My Husband has served in many leadership compacitites and he has been able to be a better Father and Husband by living according to the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. I am so grateful for my church and the joy it brings me each and every day.
