Hi I'm Lauren Green

I am a Mesa, AZ native, an avid snowboarder and a lover of refinishing furniture. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Lauren Green and I am a full time worker and a part time college student. When I have free time I love to refinish furniture and create an antique feel. I hope to start my own business doing this someday! I also love to make jewelry. Snowboarding is my passion in the wintertime, I owe that one to my husband!

Why I am a Mormon

Although I grew up in the church my entire life, I didn't gain a full testimony of this gospel until I was 17 years old. One of my youth leaders in the church pushed for me to go to a youth camp our church has called E.F.Y. They have these all over the country but I went to the one in Salt Lake City, UT and it was the best experience of my life. E.F.Y. was a place far away from the temptations and confusion I was experiencing in high school. And the best part was that I was surrounded by people who were feeling the same was as me and I realized that I wasn't alone. It was the first time I had opened my Book of Mormon and prayed for my Heavely Father to help me know whether or not this Gospel was true. I had always known it was true by the testimony of others, but it was the first time I had gained a testimony for myself. As I continue to live the Gospel righteously I have received so many blessings in my life and those blessings are what keep my faith strong. And yes, I even considers times of trial as blessings! Because I know that when we overcome our trials with the Lord by our side he will help us get through them and help us become stronger as individuals and as saints of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

In my ward I have been called to be a Ward Sister Missionary and it has been such a blessing in my life. Through this calling I am asked to reach out to less active members of our ward and to also provide support to our full time Sister Missionaries. We help by fellowshipping those in need spritually and emotionally, and assist in any way to the members of our ward.
