Hi I'm Aaron

I am a father of 6 children. Five girls and one boy. I work in sales. I enjoy running long distances - for fun. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 6 children. I work 50+ hours a week as a salesman for my company. I juggle getting to cross country meets and soccer games for my two oldest girls and piano practice and youth activities for others. I also get training in to run half marathons a few times a year. Others might say jog half marathons - but I do finish them. Work is busy, parenting is stressful, serving and helping others takes a ton of my time and then there are the kids. But knowing why I am on earth, where I came from and where I am going after this life sure does make it all worthwhile and helps keep everything in prospective.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My parents joined the church while they were in college. My 5 siblings and I all grew up learning about the gospel. You would think we all have the same experiences and live the gospel the same. It was not until I was late in my teenage years that I knew this gospel was true. I had to find out for myself through study, prayer, trial and error. I gained my testimony about the truthfulness of the gospel early enough in my life, but I have to tell you that 20+ years later I am still growing. My testimony grows each time I study the scriptures, serve in my callings at church, do service to members of my family, the church and in the community and through my daily prayers to my Heavenly Father. I love this gospel and the sure knowledge I have received of it's truthfulness. I know it is true, I know the Book of Mormon is true, I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior, and I know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I love living my faith by example. I wish my example was perfect, but I do try to live the teachings of our Savior everyday. I stand up for what I believe and it has helped in my work and personal relationships. I like to have others over to my home and BBQ or have a bonfire. Fellowshipping with others helps me to show them how I try to always live the standards of the gospel.
