Hi I'm Brice

I grew up on a ranch in Idaho. I now live in Indiana and work in the BioMedical Field. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of four. I love to spend time with my family and being involved in their various activities. I have spent many hours coaching youth basketball and baseball teams and being an activeparticipant in the community and school systems. I love to be in the gym or on the field watching my kids as they compete in extra curricular actitives. Mostly, I want them to be good citizens and friends. I enjoy relaxing by playing a good round of golf with my family and friends. I am lucky to have a job that I enjoy. I work for a company that manufactures and sales medical implants. I have a wonderful wife who is my best friend. We enjoy spending whatever free time we have with each other. I find myself the happiest when I am serving others, whether that be at work, home or at church. I am very involved in my religion and love the uplifting feeling that I recieve by worshipping and obeying eternal principles.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because it gives me direction in life. I know who I am and I know God's plan. Being a member helps me keep life in perspetive. I use gospel priniples in raising my children and in how I treat others. I, like everyone else, had to come to an understanding of the truth that the gospel offers through personal study and prayer. I have read the scriptures and have prayed and I know that Jesus is my Saviour and that God is real. This knowledge brings peace to me and helps me keep life real. By trying to live a Christ-centered life I think that I am a better employee and friend. I think one of the real challenges that most of us face is to be the same person at work, with friends, at home or at church. The principles taught in the church help me to achieve this goal. I want all people to know that I am a Christian by how I treat and respect others. I know that sincere service brings happiness in our lifes and that when we are serving others we are really only serving God. I am so grateful that God has given us a prophet on earth today, just like anciently, to help guide and direct us. Ultimately, I know that I am a son of God and that Jesus Christ is my Saviour. For this I will be eternally grateful.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the best I can in all aspects of my life. I try to live a balanced life by serving my family, church, employment and community. I have been blessed with the opportunity to be very involved in all of these different parts of life. In the church we have opportunities to serve. The Church does not have a paid ministry so we as members get the priviledge of serving in different organizations. I love serving with the youth. They are so bright and full of life and look to good examples for direction. Whether it is learning a new skill or doing a service project the youth can make it fun. It is always rewarding for a leader to see one of the youth finally "get" something that is important in life and make a change. Many of my years of service have been with the youth programs. Some of the fun things that our family has particpated in that will leave lasting memories are Christmas carolling to some of the elderly, secret Santa projects, working in a home for handicapped children and creating our own fun traditions.
