Hi I'm Megan

I LOVE to dance! I work, go to school, and balance an internship. I love life and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to dance! Country swing is my preferred genre of dance and what I do best but I am open to it all! I am a full time student at ASU and I will graduate this spring. Life is crazy as a college student and I am constantly on the run. In addition to school I also work twenty hours a week for a real estate firm. In addition to that I also intern for a wedding planner here in the valley and I could not be happier with that aspect of my life. Having the opportunity to share that very special very sacred moment with people of all faiths has been a great, great blessing in my life and a wonderful strength to my testimony of how wonderful life actually is. My family dynamic is very unique. My parents are divorced. I am the youngest of five children by about ten years. I have three nephews and six nieces all of which I adore. I am very close to my Mom and my sister they're my best friends! In addition to my family I also have wonderful friends that keep me life fun and interesting.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, which has been the greatest blessing of my life. Even though I was born under the covenant, I still had to learn on my own what it meant to be a member of Christ's church and how great and beautiful and rare that opportunity actually is. It wasn't until I started high school and entered the seminary program that my desire to build my testimony and increase my knowledge of the gospel actually began and I started teaching myself. I began to see that this gospel isn't just about learning bible stories or even understanding Christ's temporal life but that the doctrines taught are specifically designed to bring us unto Christ. To teach us not only how to be like him but to show us as well. To bring a love so strong, so beautiful, and so divine into our lives that we have no doubt that our Heavenly Father knows us and loves us all individually. To show us that there is a plan for us, that there has always been a plan, and that there will always be a plan. To show us that we have purpose in life and that that purpose is divine. To show us that we are not alone this life and that we are neither expected nor required to do this on our own. Understanding these principles has prepared me for some of life's most difficult journeys. Without this knowledge I would have never survived my parents divorce. This gospel is a direct result of Heavenly Fathers love for us. He loves us so He sent his Son. He loves us so He restored the gospel. He loves us so he provided a way back to Him. We are His children and I know without a shadow of a doubt that He loves me and that loves you.I am a Mormon because I know that this the restored gospel. I am a Mormon because I know Heavenly Father loves me. I am a Mormon because I know Christ lives. I am a Mormon because I know there's a plan and that this is it.

How I live my faith

The beauty of being a young single adult is that there is always something going on and there is always something to do. Whether it be church on Sunday, snacks and socializing after church, ward lake trips or camp outs, dances, or other countless activities building unity on every level is a huge priority. We work together, we play together, we worship together, and we serve together. One thing that is incredibly unique to our church is that we are each responsible for each other. We very actively take responsibility for ensuring that everyone is taken care of. Mormonism is not just a culture, it's not just a religion, it's a life style. Everything we are taught from the moment we are born into the church teaches us to serve others. To have compassion. To love everyone. This is what I strive to do. I think this biggest way we can bring people unto Christ is to live by example. We live in a world that Christ like attributes are not the norm. Loving and caring about people is always the best way to go. We are taught to lose ourselves in the service of others and that is how I strive to live my faith.
