Hi I'm Jenny

I grew up in Utah. I love to read, blog and spend time with friends and family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I met and married a wonderful man while I was attending Utah State University. I graduated with a degree in history and a teaching certificate. I taught school for a short time before our oldest daughter was born. At that time I decided to quit my job to stay at home and be a full time mom and I have never regretted that decision. My life is full of happiness as I care for our 4 children. Life is not glamorous and there are no raises but there is happiness and laughter. There is nothing better than a big hug first thing in the morning followed by the words "I love you mommy".

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in Utah with a wonderful family who were members of the church. I was taught the gospel of Jesus Christ through word and through example my entire life. I never doubted the teachings of the gospel. As I grew older I wanted to know for myself that this was the true church. Through study and prayer I received a confirmation that this is the Savior's church upon the earth. Being a member of this church makes me a better person.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is the essence of not only following Christ's teachings, but trying to become more like him. This is possible on a daily basis through the simple and small things in life. A smile or a simple hello goes a long way. As a mom service is what it is all about. Living my faith is being patient and calm when things don't quite work out as I had planned! I currently have the opportunity to work in the Primary or children's organization of the church. Being with other children and my own helps me remember the simpleness of the gospel and following the Savior's example daily.
