Hi I'm Pam

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Pam. I am a mom, wife, grandma and friend. I am 53 years old. I joined the LDS church when I was 24.I help to run a non-profit organization who helps members in our community who's needs are greater than their resources. I love gardening, photography, reading and entertaining.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a morman because I believe with all my heart that it is Heavenly Fathers one true church on the earth. I have prayed to know the truth and he has revealed it to me through the holy ghost. The more i study the scriptures and pray, the more I know that it is true. It just makes sense to me.Everything about the Gospel just seems so right. Heavenly Father left no stone unturned when he put his plan in place. In other words, there are no loopholes. It all fits together like a puzzle.Being a convert to the church I almost feel like I have an advantage over those who were raised in the church. What I mean is that I know what it is like not to have the gospel in my life.I know how happy I am to have it and I will NEVER live without it. My purpose is so much clearer to me with it in my life. I have found and know true happiness. The thought that I can be with my family forever brings me such joy.I'm grateful for the church and all it brings to my life and my families lives. There is an old Tom Petty and the heartbreakers song called "I Won't Back Down". I have made it my theme song about the gospel. I will never back down from what I know to be true.I love this Gospel and I love my Savior Jesus Christ whom this church is founded and based upon.

How I live my faith

I work with the young children of our church every Sunday. We teach them about their Savior Jesus Christ. We sing, read stories and build our faith together by teaching them that they are Children of God and that he loves each of them and knows them personally. It strengthens my faith to be with the children each week.
