Hi I'm Alicia

I am a busy mom of five kids and a wife. I love to bake. I love the mountains and being outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a very wonderful husband and we have 4 boys and 1girl. I stay very busy taking care of them, especially as they get older and need to be 100 places at once. I love every minute of it as they are everything to me. I love children and enjoy working with them. I have been a preschool teacher, a substitute teacher, and a paraprofessional in a class with children with special needs. I do love to bake all kinds of treats for my family and neighbors. Christmas is my very favorite time of the year, not only because of all the goodies, but more importantly because we get to celebrate our Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My parents taught me by their examples and their testimonies. I grew up believing in Christ and the gospel because of them. I remember being about 16 and just wanting to know for myself that this was all true and that I was on the right path. I drove up to the mountains and stayed all afternoon just praying to my Heavenly Father asking him to let me know. My confirmation came that day so strongly that I have never questioned my testimony of the truthfulness of this Church. I know it is the true church here on the earth today. I know that we have a living prophet that leads us and guides us each and every day. I believe in Jesus Christ with all my heart and know that he lives and loves each of us dearly. I feel that love so strongly around me and I am so grateful for this.

How I live my faith

I try to live each day as Christ would want me to. I teach my children through prayer and scripture study about the Savior. I work hard to be a good example to them and to those around me. I offer service to others whenever I can. I do my best to fulfill my calling in the Church and whatever it is I am asked to do.
