Hi I'm Emma

I'm a Hoosier. I love to travel. Classic films are my favorite! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to travel! When my family moved from Idaho to Indiana, my little brother decided that he wanted to visit all 50 states. Now four years later, the only states my family haven't visited are Hawaii and Alaska, and Washington and Oregon. Guess where I will be spending 18 months of my life? Washington and Oregon! Classic films are my favorite! Especially romantic comedies with Cary Grant. Among many, "A Philadelphia Story" and "Bringing Up Baby" are movies that I thoroughly enjoy. Audrey Hepburn is also amazing! Someday I hope to bring together two of my favorite things, travel and classic movies, by traveling to Rome and having an adventure like Audrey did in the movie "Roman Holiday." I am a Mormon. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has blessed my life more than anything else could have. My testimony is rooted in my Savior Jesus Christ. He knows me and He knows you! As I rely on Him to help me through trials I know I can return to live with my Heavenly Father someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ and His love for me. Being a Mormon makes me feel happy! I feel happy because I know there is a plan for me. My Heavenly Father watches out for me and I can feel His love when I pray and read the scriptures. The scriptures are my foundation. I am so grateful for the powerful examples of faith I find in the Bible and in the Book of Mormon. I know that these books are of God and they are meant to lead and guide us in our time. I also know that we have a prophet in our time who leads and guides us. I know that families are forever. I am grateful for my parents and the eternal family that we have. Someday I hope to follow in my parents' footsteps and be married in the temple so that I can have an eternal family. I believe that everyone should have the chance to hear the good news of the gospel!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying and reading my scriptures everyday. These may seem like insignificant things, but I know that I am closer to my Heavenly Father when I do them. I know that prayer is my connection to Heavenly Father and that He really does answer. I know that the scriptures are true. In them I find examples of how to be a better daughter, a better friend, and a better disciple of Jesus Christ.
