Hi I'm Daniel

I served a Church Service Mission. I'm an Eagle Scout. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have obtained the Eagle Scout award. I love Christmas and horses. I am the only boy in a family of five. I like to play most games. I like to use my imagination a lot.

Why I am a Mormon

Since I was born into the church, you would think I had no choice but to stay with the family. But, several years ago, I wasn't so sure if this was a church I belong in. So, one day, when I was with a group of youth, we were to split up into the woods to have some time to ourselves. This was the perfect opportunity to personally pray with God and ask him if this is where I belong. I got a feeling a few minutes later. The feeling reassured me that this church was where I belonged. So, I've been a faithful Mormon ever since.

How I live my faith

I do the best that I can to be an example to my fellow men.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Some say that we do not believe in the Bible. But the Bible is an important aspect in what we believe. We believe the Bible to be holy scripture because it was written by holy men of God and testifies of Jesus Christ. Although we do accept other books as scripture, it would be pointless to accept them if we did not accept the Bible. And even though there are lost portions of the Bible, we accept the Bible as it is now correctly translated. In my opinion, I love to read some of those well known Bible stories and I could not imagine what my life would be like if I, personally, did not accept the Bible as the Word of God.
