Hi I'm Shannon

I live in the great bakken region, Williston North Dakota. And I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

About Me

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know that my choices are my own. Many say "I cant, I'm Mormon". I say, "I choose not to because I want a better future. I want to participate in the blessings that obedience brings. I want to stay permanently happy, not just happy for a moment." Life is about memories and relationships. I choose to look back on many moments and remember my own joy. And then continue to see my present and the small tender mercies that have been given to me-so that I can continue to be happy. I have also been called as Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and will be serving in the Recife Brazil region, and learning the Portuguese language.

Why I am a Mormon

I am "Mormon" because I know this is the same teachings, leadership that Christ had set up when he was on the earth, that has been restored in these Latter Days. I choose this church, this organization that teaches of Christ because I choose to follow our saviors example of kindness, meekness, and obedience, and I know that this organization provides the fullness of his teachings. Not just parts or interpretations of truths. I know that just as there were prophets in Moses' and Abraham's time, there is a prophet today. I know that the Book of Mormon is a record of the people of Americas. That they too testify of Christ-his teachings, his dealings with his children. I know that with this book, the bible and latter day revelation, we can know the full teachings of Jesus Christ. That he lives and we can live with him. That there is a plan for all of us. That we can see our loved one's again. That we can be with them for eternity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by example. It is often said that actions speak louder than words, so why not shout out with actions.
