Hi I'm Kim

I grew up in CA & was brought up Catholic. At 16, I joined a nondenominational church. I was baptized Mormon at age 30 in AZ.

About Me

I'm a mother a 6 wonderful children including twins. (Jordyn-13, Nicholas-11, Isabelle-9, Lily-7, David-5, and Kaitlynn-5). I've been married twice and divorced twice. I am now engaged to my soul-mate, Bill! I can't wait to marry this man. He is a great provider and wonderful father. I've attended college at CAC, majoring in English, and at the University of Phoenix, majoring in Criminal Justice. I hope to one day work for a lawyer or be a lawyer myself. I'm a very busy mom running kids to school, tutoring, practices, and games. I feel I never have a minute to myself! I love every minute of it though and wouldn't change a thing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was an Atheist for 5 years and one day I said to myself, "I'm miserable and I think it's because I've chosen to not believe in God!" I knew my neighbor and friend, Laura, went to church but I didn't know which one. So I asked her if I could come to church with her on Easter Sunday 2009. The second I walked in, I felt peace throughout my body and knew I had made the right decision. The next day, Laura invited us over for a small church get-together. The missionaries were there and I started asking questions. We made plans to start having meetings so that I could prepare myself and my two oldest children for baptism. Jordyn and Nicholas were baptized in June 2009 and I was baptized the following month. Isabelle and Lily will be baptized in June 2012 and David and Kaitlynn will be baptized in December 2013.

How I live my faith

I attend church on Sundays. We hold family home evenings on nights my children don't have a game or practice. I live by what we call "CHATT". No Coffee, Harmful drugs, Alcohol, Tobacco, Tea. I study my scriptures at home as well as other books and movies pertaining to Mormonism. I don't have a calling as of yet because I just moved from 3rd ward to 7th ward and then they dispersed 7th ward and I ended up in 1st ward. I hope to start my visiting teaching soon.
