Hi I'm Cesily

I love my family, genealogy, and reading. I know God uses our trials here on earth to show us His love for us. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother of four sweet kids. I am a stay at home mom. I love classical music, playing the piano, reading (especially the Wall Street Journal), learning about my amazing ancestors, running, music, teaching children, and talking with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

My husband and I have been married for almost 13 years. He is a brain cancer survivor, who has gone through two surgeries, chemo, and radiation. He is amazing. I don't know where else I would turn to for solace if I did not have a knowledge of God's love for me. Each day can be a struggle with my husband's health and the uncertainty of our future, but I have a firm conviction that God uses this trial to help me grow closer to Him. I find myself becoming grateful for my life, my own set of trials as I look around at others suffering around me. God wants us to be happy and find joy in living on this beautiful earth He created. I can do that as I trust Him, knowing my husband's life is in His hands.

How I live my faith

I find a need to surround myself by light. This past year we repainted our home to a lighter shade and I do feel as if my world is brighter. When darkness and doubt try to overcome me I read the scriptures, listen to Mormon Tabernacle Choir and christian music, and serve others. I find myself happier when I do this. I currently serve with the children in the church and love seeing their trusting and believing natures! They are so meek and want to know truth and about God's love for them. Their energetic zeal in singing songs like, "I am a Child of God" inspires me to try to become more like a little child in my own faith.
