Hi I'm Kandy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up, a "mother hen" as the third of 9 children. I was blessed with loving parents who taught me the gosple of Jesus Christ. I am a wife, to a kind and extreemly patient man. I am a mom of 5 amazing boys. Each of my children have been given medical challanges. We have grown in tremendous ways as we have learned about; Autism, Cystic Fibrosis, Depression, ADD, and Diabetis Insipidus.I enjoy baking, sewing, and long walks with a friend. I love music, it can lift me from any earthly sorrow. I love cookies with nuts, served with a glass of cold milk. My favorite places to be are in the temple or in the mountains with family and friends. I returned to school after age 40, and was pleasantly surprised that learning as an adult is so much more meaningful. I love to give and recieve hugs.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because, I believe that I have been bleesed with the full knowledge of Jesus Christ's gosple. With that knowledge, I have learned that that when I am willing to follow my Heavenly Fathers loving council, I am happy. My earth life xeperience has been full of joy and sorrow. I am able to face the good and bad knowing my savoir is walking beside me. I love the security and protection I have, in choosing to follow Jesus christ. Daily, I'm greatful for the atonment, and the blessing it is to me and all mankind. I know God has blessesd us to have a prophet on the earth today. He is Gods mouthpiece. We are being guided through these perilous times and have no need to fear if we are following Gods council. As an adult I have come to better understand and appreciate Gods gift of agency (the ability to choose for ourselves). Being a mormon, brings me strength and happiness every day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by, doing the "little things"; praying, reading the scriptures, and following the promptings of the Holy Spirit. I love serving others, at church and in my community. I find so much joy helping others and giving them encouragement. I know we are all on this earth together to lighten each others burdens. I have been given the opportunity to serve in our childrens organization, the spirit with little children is so strong, when they sing I feel like I'm in heaven. Working with the youth, young women (ages 12 to 18) has strengthened my belief that God has prepared these valliant youth to face the evils of our world. They are boldly and nobly standing up for virtue and integrity. Participating in the adult womans organization has given me great tools to be a better wife and mother. The women I have come to know have loved me, and encouraged me to become better. I believe every challange I have been given has been for my growth and learning.
