Hi I'm Lona

I am a wife, mother of 3 amazing boys, college student, photographer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I am a wife to an incredible man, a mother of 3 fun boys a sister and a daughter of God. I am currently a stay at home mom, a college student, a waitress, school volunteer, a photographer and a Mormon. I have an associate degree in early childhood education. I grew up in a family of 7 kids 6 of those kids are boys.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. Growing up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has been one of the best blessing of my life. I learned at a very young age that I am a Child of God who loves me so much! He wants me to be the best person I can be. In the church we are given high standards to uphold and I am thankful for them as they have made me into the person I have become. Many of us go through trials in our lives, while each of them is personal to each one of us I am thankful that through my trials I have been able to go to my Father in Heaven and pray for help when I am in need. I am grateful for Jesus Christ and the Atonement. How amazing that he loved each one of us so much that he suffered and died for us on the cross, so that we can repent of our sins and live with our Father in Heaven again someday. I am thankful to know that our family can be together forever. I can't imagine what live would be like no knowing that I will someday get to see my loved ones again. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has helped make me the person I am today. A Daughter of God, a daughter to my parents here on earth, a sister, wife, and now I get to be a mother.

How I live my faith

I Love to serve others. I am a volunteer at the elementary school. I am a volunteer coach for cross-country. In the church I am blessed to be the Cub Scout Committee Chair which means I get to help plan activities for Cub Scouts. I have been helping children as long as I can remember whether it is helping them tie a shoe, learn to ride a bike, or learning to read. Children are precious gifts from our father in Heaven he trusts us to take care of them and teach them everyday. We strive in our house to serve one another by helping each other out with daily activities/chores. As a college student it has been amazing to work together to learn new skills and help one another when we have questions. I am a server at a local restaurant. I love to help families enjoy a night out. As a photographer I get to capture special moments for families capturing wedding, pregnancies, new babies, growing children and special family events. The church gives us many opportunities to help others. I am grateful to be able to serve others and help in little or big ways, whether it is baking dinner for someone that needs it or painting the gazebo in the park.
