Hi I'm Christina

I'm a wife, a mom, a neonatal Registered Nurse, a book and internet enthusiast, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a busy mom and wife who is involved in SO much! I work the night shift as a neonatal Registered Nurse. When I'm not doing that (or sleeping while the sun is up!), I can be found reading a good book, doing school work with my kids, enjoying numerous activities with my family, running boys to cub scouts or losing my voice cheering for my son during his junior football games! I also love cooking, sewing and knitting and am always involved in a few projects. I enjoy journaling and blogging and the Internet in general. I try to find the positive in everything and make the most of any given circumstance!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, so you could say that my mom chose this religion for me. But as a teenager, I prayed about it and received a very sweet and solid assurance that this religion contained the fullness of the gospel here on earth. Being a Mormon brings me so much peace and happiness in this life, for I know that all things happen for a specific purpose. This helps me get through the tough times. And I live with the joy of knowing that families can be together forever, throughout the eternities, not just here in this life. I was born into the Mormon church, but I CHOOSE to continue living its principles because of the happiness and joy that it brings me!

How I live my faith

My faith is not just a Sunday faith... I choose to live it daily! Personal and family prayer, prayers at meal times, scripture study, and living gospel principles bring me daily happiness. I am blessed to be a part of our church's women's group and as such have made many, many wonderful friends. We attend church based on our physical home addresses, which means that all of my church friends are also my neighbors! Because they are my neighbors, I do things with these wonderful people outside of church too. I have a built-in network of friends who I eat dinner with, go to movies and concerts with, exchange babysitting with, and lean on in times of need. They are my extended family and I can't imagine my life without them!
