Hi I'm Maya

I'm 30 years old and I am a super mom. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in southern California most of my life, and now live in Eastern Washington. I have four wonderful children. I have a wonderful, awsome, handsome, hard working, honest, loving husband. Im a stay at home mom. My husband works full time away from home, very often. My responsability at home is to do house chores, help my children feel comfortable and happy, and healthy. To make sure they smile and giggle. To fix their owees. And to be a referee. To be a cheer leader for all my family. To take care of our small animals. Wash our cars .And do yard work. To support my husband and help him as much as possible. I have ulcerative collitis. Its constantly a battle in my life. There is pain everyday. I have accepted my illness as a blessing. It has blessed me with strength, faith, humility, patientence, presurverence, and hope. There is no medicine that can cure me, having faith in heavenly father is what is helping me along my path in life. I understand that he knows what my strength is.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with no religion. My husband was a LDS memeber since childhood. I always believed in God and Jesus Christ. A couple of years ago I became deathly ill and no kind of medication was helping me. That week I was having dreams about spirits. They were telling me that something was near, and that it was going to be ok. I was also prompted to follow my husband and to support him going to church. The next morning I would always tell him about these dreams I had. We didnt think much about them. One late night I got to my lowest part of my illness. My father-n-law called and asked if i wanted a blessing, he lived in Hawaii at that time, which is really far away from us. I said yes. Within 20 minutes I had recieved my blessing. That hard shell that formed over my heart had shattered. One of the men that came over that night told me that they had finally found me. I had know idea that heavenly father had been planning this all along. A few weeks later we were at a game and we noticed missionarys on bikes talking to someone. We drove over there to talk to them. Keep in mind I wasn't able to go to church yet because of me being so sick. The missionaries later told us that they were supposed to be somewhere else and the spirit told them to turn down our street. They helped me get baptized. I have been improving in my health every since. Heavenly father gave me my life back. My children, my husband, and myself are now walking down the right path. My blessings are phenomenal! I know why I am here, I can help others, I can feel love for all that is around me. Becoming a Mormon has givin me a real life, the one I was supposed to have all along. My family can share this with me. We are so blessed to be sealed for this life and all eternity.

How I live my faith

My calling at this time is secretary in the Relief Society. I try to look out for others in need around me. I help them as much as posible. I love to see others smile. I love to make new friends and become stronger friends with the ones I already have.
