Hi I'm Megan

I'm a DIY home improvement freak, a wall painter, a knitter, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have so many interests it's not even funny. I paint on walls and furniture, I love to work on decorating my home, I love to knit - thanks to my mom, I sew for my home and my girls, and I love to read. However, those are all things I do on the side in my spare time. Mostly, though, I do the things that really count. I spend time with my hubby, I laugh with my teenagers who are so dang funny, I fix dinners, do laundry, help with homework, and I run kids around. I also love to spend time with my friends: snowshoeing, hiking, biking, swimming, running and of course, shopping and lunch.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the Gospel of Jesus Christ is what makes me happy. I live a fairly simple life, but I love it and the relationship I have with my Savior has helped me to find a deeper meaning in my life and to really see what the most important things are. I love my family and want to help my kids be ready for what they have to face out there in the world. I want them to know how precious they are and how much they are loved by their Heavenly Father. I want them to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and turn to him when they need help. I'm a Mormon because this is where I feel at home.

How I live my faith

Choices abound in the world, so many paths and avenues for us to walk down, but not all lead us in the right direction. It takes courage to do the right thing. One of my favorite scriptures says,"Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not." I try to do just that. I try to look to Christ for my strength and I pray that he will help me dispel the doubt and fear I feel and find courage to do the right things, the things he would have me do.
