Hi I'm Glenda

I grew up in Indiana, but joined the church in Casa Grande, Arizona.

About Me

I am a wife and a mom. I love to be at home and take care of my family. I am the happiest when I am doing service for my family and friends. My husband and I enjoy our time together just" hanging out"' I love Family History and find myself sitting at the computer for hours researching my history. I enjoy doing Volunteer work also. Besides doing Family History I love to go on trips with our RV and play golf with my husband. I also like walking.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church in 1973. I had been searching for something but didn't know what exactly. When the missionaries introduced me to the church one of the 1st discussions that was taught was about the "Plan of Salvation". As soon as I heard the lesson I knew this is what I had been looking for! I have a twin sister who has been disabled since we were 2 years old and I knew that there had to be more to life for her than just this earth life.. My husband and I continued to take the discussions and within a couple of months we were baptized. I have strived to serve others and also my twin sister. I love her dearly. She makes me want to be a better person. I have also tried to teach my son the importance of helping others and showing compassion for others. He is 36 now and it is wonderful to watch him interact with my twin sister. He is so kind and gentle with her. I am so proud of him.

How I live my faith

I strive to be a good example to those in my community. I am a volunteer director for an organization in my community. I work alongside with those whom I serve. I also am a seretary in our women's organization at church. I also have an opportunity to visit, talk or wirte to five ladies from church each month. I have a strong connection with these ladies. I love them and consider them my dear friends. I love serving the Lord. It brings me great joy.
