Im 23 years old. i got married a year and a half ago to a guy who went to my highschool. i cheered for him and he was on the football team yet we never even knew each other until years later haha. well, thats not all entirely true, he knew about me. i grew up in the south and i am a huge Auburn fan. you can say its in my blood to be an auburn fan. my grandaddy has the auburn symbol on his tombstone and growing up if you were an alabama fan you couldn't sit at his dinner table haha. i love college football. War eagle! im proud of my team! we won the national championship last year! i also love doing hair and little kids. i have a cosmetology license and i also nanny on the side. kids are so awesome because they never hold back. they say exactly what they want. im pregnant with my first and its a girl. we picked the name Romy. i love going out dancing. i love the store Forever 21. i look forward to being a mom. little romy will always have awesome hair!

Why I am a Mormon

i have always been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I remember when i was 17 years old i was in a terrible accident. my life flashed before my eyes. i was on my way to meet some friends for lunch. it was amazing i survived. The vehicle was completely smashed and the ambulance had to use the jaws of life to get me out. I broke my femur bone in half and had to go into immediate surgery to put a metal rod in my leg. i remember being terrified but also how much i wanted my family by my side. in this gospel it is taught that families will be together forever, not just until we die. also, when i got home from the surgery i was in a great deal of pain that wouldnt go away. i would pull out my hair and scream and yell for someone to cut off my leg. the worst part was when my mom left the room in tears herself because she felt there was nothing she could do. then i remember praying to my Heavenly Father "will you please take this pain away from me? it's more than i can bare." just after i prayed to God the pain slowly started to fade but as it did a feeling over came me and it was "imagine what pain your savior Jesus Christ went through for you and everyone else in this world? both physical and emotional?" i began crying again but this time for a different reason. my heavenly father wanted me to know that. I know that this is the CHURCH of JESUS CHRIST of latter day saints. i feel my savior, Jesus Christs love for me when i am at church. i know he can heal all people. He has healed me when i have been sick, had a broken heart, felt lonely, broke my femur bone. He is always there for me. I love my Savior jesus christ so much.

How I live my faith

In my ward at church i was a primary teacher for the seven year olds. i love them. some sundays are kind of annoying when the boys are talking about bazookas and video games but for the most part it feels so good to teach these children. i see their desires and good hearts. i feel the love the savior has for them. I know how important it is for them to learn these beautiful teachings. i also have had a calling in my church with greeting people. i would greet all of the women who came into relief society every sunday and make the new ones or visitore feel and know they are welcome. Releif society is an hour during church for all the women to get together and spiritually grow and learn and to me it couldnt be called anything better. The sisters truly do go out of their way to relieve the burdens of the others and when we all get together we leave our burdens behind and can feel peace and love.
